Warning W05: foot switch is not connected properly

a) This failure may be resulted from the improper operation. First, judge whether the failure is ascribed to “foot switch is not connected”. Please confirm whether the “foot switch plug” has been correctly inserted into the main console.

Note:

① Do not apply too much force while inserting the “food switch plug”. After aligning to the corresponding socket red point of shell, push in the plug gently. “Foot switch plug” supports the hot plug.

②  “Foot switch plug” is an accompanying accessory.

     b) Short circuit the main console food switch sockets 1 and 3. If the alarm is eliminated at this time, judge it is the failure of food switch plug and check the food switch plug.


      c) If the alarm is not eliminated, take apart the back shell of instrument and then short circuit P6.4 and P6.6 with tweezers; If, however, the alarm is not eliminated, it should be the failure of main control board of main console, and try to replace the main control board of main console.

     d) The failure may be ascribed to the instrument line if the alarm is not eliminated after the above steps. Check the state of “main control board D43 of main console” (the indicator lamp is in the “off”  after the “foot switch plug is correctly inserted”). If the state of indicator lamp does not comply with the reality, confirm whether the corresponding wiring harness is loose and whether any line is broken according to the “wiring diagram”. (Where P6.4 and P6.6 are short circuited after “foot switch plug is correctly inserted”, use a multimeter to help test line connection/disconnection.)
