1. For handpiece having been delivered but having not been modified

a) Shut down the machine and observe through the treatment head window whether the semiconductor laser unit has black point or any other burning trace. If any, replace the semiconductor laser unit.

b) Otherwise, it should be failure of handpiece. Replace handpiece at this time.

a) The low output energy may also be caused by a too large line impedance resulted from the poor contact of power output line or too small contact area. If the condition permits, check whether the whole output line is the circumstances shown below: screw is not well-tightened; crimp connection length of handpiece plug/socket is insufficient and interior welding of handpiece is poor.

d) If the laser emission strength is unsteady, test with the professional tools such as oscilloscope and current clamp, which should be under the guidance of our after-sales engineer.

2. For handpiece having not been delivered or having been modified

a) Confirm whether the handpiece parameters are set correctly (wave length, laser emission area and model of semiconductor laser unit).

b) Confirm whether the model of main console laser power supply is consistent with the actual assembly (only applicable to L0-B-1.1.140 interface program apk and above versions).

c) Confirm whether the above parameters are used for energy calibration and that the calibration process is normal.

d) If the above problem still exists, confirm whether the handpiece light path is assembled correctly. The light path should be in the middle, semiconductor laser unit should be fixed and in the middle, without obvious deflection.

e) Then, overhaul as per the steps for “handpiece having been delivered but having not been modified”​
