No laser output

No laser output

Tips:

Scope of application: Engineer

Applicable grade: Professional

Service tools: Multimeter

 Apply text preconditions:

1Renuva® works normal and there are no other warning

2The scanning galvanometer works normally

Step1. Checking the laser fan

Power on and start up, enter the working interface, press the Ready button, then the laser starts to work, the laser fan will emit obvious wind noise.

If there is wind noise in the laser fan, check DB25 connector lose or not, then check the indicator (Step 2).

b. If the laser fan has no wind noise, check the power supply of the laser (Step 3).

Step2. Checking the laser indicator

Need to ask a professional engineer to disassemble the shell Renuva® shell removal procedure, and power on the work, when stepping on the foot switch, observe the two green LED laser

In Ready state, when the pedal switch is not pressed down, the two LEDS are steady on; Step on the foot switch light, the LED below will flash once.

If the LED light is long on and does not blink, check whether the control line is virtual connection.

If the LED lamp is not on, check the power supply of the laser (Step 3)

If the LED works normally, judge the laser damage.

Step3. Checking the power supply of the laser

Use a multimeter to check whether the OUTPUT end of MSP-300-24 is 24V.

If the voltage is 24V, the power supply of the laser is normal, and the laser is judged to be damaged.

If the voltage is not 24V, check whether the D16 indicator on the main board is on.

If D16 is not on, it is judged that the mainboard is damaged, or the relay is short-circuited.

If D16 is turned on, further check whether P9-1 and P9-2 are high (voltage between 10V-12V); If it is high level, it indicates that the power supply relay of MSP-300-24 is closed. In this case, it is necessary to check whether the relevant wiring harness and connector have virtual connection. If it is low level, it indicates that the relay is not closed. Check whether the wiring harness between the P9 interface and the relay is virtually connected. If there is no virtual connection, it can be judged that the main board is fault.

Whether the voltage between THE DC power supply V+ and V- for the laser is 24V
