Warning W08: temperature of water tank exceeds the scope

Warning W08: temperature of water tank exceeds the scope

a) This failure means that “temperature of water tank exceeds the scope”. It is very likely to be caused by the long-time high-energy laser emission. The prompt will disappear automatically after water tank temperature is recovered.

b) If the failure prompt occurs very frequently (occurring after continuously working for 1 h), the failure may be ascribed to the instrument.

c) View the water temperature displayed on the water quality testing board. Where no temperature jump phenomenon occurs, exclude the poor contact of temperature sensor; otherwise, check the temperature sensor or replace water quality testing board.

d) At this time, judge whether it is caused by the too high or low temperature of water tank. When this alarm pops up, keep clicking the “OK” key for more than five times to access the background directly and then input “password 3” to view the water temperature. If water temperature is ≥35 ℃ at this time, judge whether water temperature exceeds the upper limit; if water temperature is ≤5℃, judge whether water temperature water temperature exceeds the lower limit.

e) Power on the instrument again, to enter working interface. Under the “ready” state, view whether compressor operates. If the compressor does not operate, check whether the compressor power supply is normal according to the “electrical specification”. Under the “ready” state, main console control board will control relay B actuation to supply power to the compressor.

f) If fan does not operate under the “ready” state, make maintenance repair according to Rotation Stop of Main Console Fan in the Ready State.

g) Power off the instrument, open the front maintenance window of instrument and pluck off the wiring harness on connector J1 of water quality testing board. Output 24 V with the DC power supply and connect to the 5 and 6 terminals on wiring harness. If the sound of “pop” is heard, the water circuit electric control valve should be normal; insert the wiring harness onto the J1 interface again. Otherwise, it should be the failure of water circuit electric control valve. If confirming it is not the failure of broken line, replace the whole water chiller.

h) If the electric control valve is normal but water temperature exceeds the lower limit, replace the water quality testing board.

i) If the electric control valve is normal but water temperature exceeds the upper limit (water temperature is within the range of 20-25 ℃ (displayed value of water quality board), use a multimeter to check whether voltage between J1.5 and J1.6 is DC 24 V: If not, replace the water quality testing board; if so, operate the instrument for 10-20 min, without laser emission. Then, after switching to the “standby” state, view water temperature through “password 3”. If the water temperature is 15±5 ℃, judge water circuit refrigeration is normal. If the refrigerating capacity is insufficient, replace the whole water chiller (or entrust the professional personnel to supplement the refrigerant R134A).
